Prime University Invites Contributions for Annual Magazine "THE RAY"

The Centre for Research, HRD and Publications (CRHP) at Prime University has officially announced a call for creative and academic submissions for the 2026 (9th) edition of the university’s annual magazine, "THE RAY".

In a notice issued on March 28, 2026, the editorial board invited students and faculty members to submit their original works in either Bengali or English. The magazine aims to showcase a diverse range of literary and historical perspectives.

Submission Categories

The editorial board is seeking contributions across nine broad categories:

  1. Poetry and Rhymes

  2. Travelogues

  3. Short Stories

  4. Translations and Foreign Literature

  5. Memoirs and Personal Essays

  6. Inventions and Biographies of Famous Personalities

  7. Socio-economics, Heritage, Culture, History, and Bengali Coexistence

  8. Bangladesh Affairs: Language Movement, Liberation War, and the Student-People Uprising of '24.

  9. Public Awareness, Character Building, and Religious Essays

Submission Guidelines and Deadlines

To ensure a high standard of publication, the CRHP has outlined the following requirements for all contributors:

  • Word Limit: Articles must be within 1,200 words.

  • Formatting: Soft copies should be in MS Word, using Times New Roman for English or Sutonny MJ for Bengali.

  • Required Documents: One hard copy of the writing, a personal introduction (ID), and a passport-sized photograph.

  • Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted by April 30, 2026.


How to Submit

Interested writers can submit their soft copies via email to pucrhp@gmail.com. Hard copies should be delivered directly to the CRHP Office (Room No. 316).
