Lab Assistant

Job Description
- Assist faculty members in conducting laboratory classes and practical sessions.
- Prepare and set up computer labs, software, hardware, and networking equipment before classes.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, programming tools, and application software.
- Provide technical support to students during laboratory sessions and project work.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, equipment records, and asset documentation.
- Ensure proper functioning, safety, and security of laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Assist in conducting examinations, assessments, and laboratory evaluations.
- Support research activities, workshops, seminars, and departmental projects.
- Coordinate with faculty and IT teams for laboratory upgrades and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and academic standards.
Requirements
- The Candiate must have 4 years Diploma in Computer science and Engineering from any Goverment and Govenmrent approved Ploytechnical Institute under Bnagladsh Technical Education Board
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.).
- Understanding of computer networks and operating systems.
- Basic database management knowledge.
- Good communication and student support skills.
- Ability to maintain records and manage laboratory resources efficiently.
