Mohammed Jasim Uddin Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Prime University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he has been serving in this position since June 1, 2025. He also holds the additional administrative responsibility of Assistant Proctor. Before his promotion, he worked as a Lecturer in the same department from February 27, 2017 to May 31, 2025.
Mr. Khan has a long and diverse teaching career in higher education. He previously served as a Senior Lecturer at Dhaka International University from 2011 to 2014, and as a Lecturer at BCI Engineering Institute from 2006 to 2010 and Kalingonj Moliha College from 2000 to 2005.
Academically, he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English at Kalinga University, Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. He completed his M.A. in English (Literature) from Northern University, Bangladesh, earning a CGPA of 3.69 out of 4.00 in 2005, and his B.A. (Hons) in English from National University in 1999. He also completed his HSC from Ideal College, Dhaka Board, and SSC from Gouripur S.A. High School, Comilla Board.
In addition to his academic and teaching contributions, Mr. Khan has authored 4 published articles and 2 published books.
