Mabia Momen is a dedicated academic and educator in the field of Education, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Education. With a strong commitment to teaching, learning, and professional development, she has built a reputation for delivering engaging and student-centered instruction at the tertiary level.

She completed her MEd degree and has been actively involved in higher education, contributing to both academic instruction and curriculum development. Prior to her current role, she gained valuable teaching experience as a Lecturer (full-time and part-time) at the Education department. Her diverse teaching background has strengthened her ability to address the needs of learners from different academic levels.

Mabia Momen’s academic interests include Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Educational Administration and Management, and issues related to equity and access in education. She is particularly passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and promoting critical thinking among students.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is actively engaged in preparing instructional materials, developing course content, and guiding students in their academic and professional growth. She believes in lifelong learning and continuously strives to enhance her knowledge and teaching practices.

Her professional goal is to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of education through effective teaching, research, and community engagement.

Mabia Momen’s research interests lie within the broad field of Education, with a particular focus on understanding and improving teaching–learning processes in diverse educational contexts. Her academic curiosity is centered on Educational Psychology, where she explores learners’ cognitive, emotional, and social development and their impact on academic achievement.

She is also deeply interested in Guidance and Counseling, especially in addressing students’ mental health, career development, and behavioral challenges within educational institutions. Her work in this area emphasizes the role of educators in providing supportive and responsive learning environments.

Another significant area of her research includes Educational Administration and Management, where she examines institutional effectiveness, leadership practices, policy implementation, and quality assurance in higher education.

In addition, Mabia Momen is interested in issues of equity, access, and inclusion in education, particularly in the context of developing countries. Her research aims to explore how socio-economic factors, gender, and policy frameworks influence educational opportunities and outcomes.

She is committed to conducting research that contributes to practical improvements in education systems, enhances teaching practices, and supports student well-being and success.
