Sajma Akter is a Lecturer and active researcher in the Department of English at Prime University, with more than one year of experience in EFL classroom teaching and a strong commitment to student-centered and activity-based education. She also serves as an English Language Instructor and Program Coordinator at Prime University Language School (PULS), where she primarily teaches English language courses and contributes to its academic and coordination activities. In addition, she serves as a member of the Proctorial body at Prime University.

She strives to create a supportive, engaging, and interactive classroom environment through active student participation and meaningful activities, with a particular focus on maximizing Student Talk Time (STT), while maintaining high standards of academic quality, discipline, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Her research interests include Ecolinguistics, Sustainable Education, English Language Teaching (ELT), Applied Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics, EFL classroom practices, and language pedagogy, with a broader interest in language, learning, and teaching practices in diverse educational contexts.
