Aysha Alam Talukder is an Assistant Professor of English concentrating in Applied Linguistics and ELT. She has been teaching English for about 13 years at university level. She studied at the Department of English at the University of Dhaka. She has attended different national and international conferences. Her comfortable zone of teaching is Applied Linguistics although she enjoys teaching ELT, SLA, Sociology and Language courses. Her current research interests are in Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, ELT, Sociolinguistics, Stylistics and South Asian translation works. She has five publications in international peer reviewed journals and intends to do more research.
