Faijul Islam has been working as a Lecturer of Law at Prime University since February 2025. Before this, he worked as a Lecturer of Law at People’s University of Bangladesh. His academic interests include human rights, international humanitarian law, comparative constitutional law,Government and politics and international refugee law.Mr Faijul Islam have completed his LL.B. with a CGPA of 3.63 receiving both the UGC Merit Scholarship and the Advocate Tapan Bihari Nag Law Scholarship. Aftermath he subsequently obtained his LL.M. with a CGPA of 3.71 out of 4.00.
Faijul Islam is actively engaged in research project and has already published nine research articles in reputed national and international journals.As a part of academic excellency he has participated in more than 13 international conferences in Bangladesh and outside Bangladesh.
Currently, he is perusing his M.Phil. research under the supervision of Dr. Rakiba Nabi, Professor, Department of Law, University of Chittagong focusing on the topic “Role of International Organisations in Intervening in Ongoing Genocides.” Throughout his university life, he also worked as a Research Assistant under the supervision of renowned Legal scholar Dr. Abdullah Al Faruque.
Right now, he is involved in a research project titled “Backlogs of Cases in Bangladesh: Core Factors and Pathways for Radical Reform.”
In his student life, Mr. Islam was an reputed debater, winning different awards as Best Debater in various Debate tournaments. In fact he was recognized as Debater of the Tournament at the 36th International Science Fair in 2016 and as a finalist in the 19th Thematic Debate in 2019 organised by Chittagong University School of Debate. He was also the Runner-up in the Pepsodent National School Debate Tournament in 2013.
He enrolled as advocate in Bangladesh Bar Council in 2026. In addition to his academic career, Mr. Islam has wrote two books: “Muslim Law and Islamic Jurisprudence (In Light of Existing Muslim Law) and “Constitutional Law (Including the Latest Amendments of Bangladesh, India, the UK, and the USA)”, co-authored with Mostafizur Rahman, published by Jashim Publication, Nilkhet, Dhaka.
As part of his academic career , he has published 89 op-eds in various national and international newspapers, magazines and legal blogs. In June 2025, he attended an international research conference on the Right to Development at the University of Siena, Italy.
Mr.Faijul Faijul Islam interests to further contribute to the field of law through impactful research, writing and the dissemination of legal acumen.

In 2026, I got enrolled in the Bangladesh Bar Council. Before that, I had been working as an apprentice advocate under the supervision of Md Abdul Latif, a civil expert in Barguna District. There, I learned legal drafting, client dealing, negotiation, arbitration, and gained experience in different types of legal appraisal. I have completed my legal academic journey through this profound chamber.
